About the Project
In this project, fellows worked alongside mentors to create a collaborative mural as a meaningful data physicalization project —an innovative way to communicate complex information by embedding it within a physical artifact. This data artifact was housed within the Sarah Shannon Stevenson Science and Engineering Library as a collaborative effort to combine mapped spatial data with student art and storytelling to showcase one of the areas of study serviced by the Science & Engineering Library.

Project
Students' contributions to the mural visually integrated spatial data on research centers, labs, and/or innovation hubs across Vanderbilt and Nashville, highlighting the dynamic relationship between local geography, STEM initiatives, and/or artificial intelligence breakthroughs.
