Library services support the research and teaching missions of Vanderbilt.
Support for Research
The library provides access to premium content, databases, journals, primary source material and data that support the breadth of research disciplines across the university.
Librarians with subject and discipline expertise provide information consultation services, help faculty identify information sources and keep current with research. Assistance with authors’ rights, open access, GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and data curation are available through the library’s office of Scholarly Communications.
Knowledgeable staff provide Document Delivery services. Faculty may make purchase suggestions, as well as authorize a surrogate borrower.
