  • Do I have to get rid of my smartphone?

    Nope! But if you're interested in getting rid of it, here are some options to try out:

  • What does "device-free" mean? Does my Kindle, iPod, or tablet count?

    Device-free means no devices! If you're using a device with a screen, that means you're not unplugging. This means...

    No reading on a Kindle.

    No audio books. 

    No TV.

    Engaging with physical media, like CDs and records, is allowed.

  • I'm a staff member/faculty, can I join?

    Yes!

  • Can I host my own analog or Unplug It! event?

    YES! We would love nothing more. Just send an email to audrey.bentch@vanderbilt.edu so we can add your event to the website and send you our logos. 

  • What are the prizes? How do I win them?

    The prizes are:

    Your name will be entered into the raffle for each item for every 8 hours of time you log for the Unplug It! challenge.

  • Where do I get a button or bookmark?

    Buttons and bookmarks are available at the circulation desks of Central and Music Library.
