Brightspace Embedded Librarians
Embedding a Subject Librarian in Brightspace provides consistent and personalized research assistance for your students. Librarians can be embedded in curricular and assignment development, partner in the assessment of student learning, provide on-site office hours, and more.
Course-Integrated Instruction
Librarians can teach customized curriculum-focused classes on research skills, using digital technologies, evaluating sources, and more. Contact your subject librarian or fill out a general Library Instruction Request Form. Please request your session at least 1 week ahead of the preferred date to allow for sufficient planning based on your course objectives.
Customized Research Guides
Customized course, topic, or disciplinary research guides that assist students with research projects and papers.
Videos & Tutorials
Short instructional videos that can be used as stand-alone resources or embedded in Brightspace. Librarians can also create tutorials for flipped classroom assessments.
Workshops & Learning Opportunities
The Libraries offer a number of drop-in workshops, bootcamps, and discussion groups focusing on research strategies, educational technologies, digital scholarship, and more. Topics can also be customized and offered on-demand for specific courses.
