Visitors to the Science and Engineering Library

Visitors are welcome to come to the library to browse the open book stacks and to use electronic journals, books and indexing databases. The library's online catalog Primo [add link] is freely available, but some digital resources may be restricted to the Vanderbilt community. Note that access to the library building is restricted during certain hours.

As a Patent and Trademark Resource Center, we are available to assist anyone with questions on intellectual property, and can demonstrate how to make use of publicly available search tools and other resources. Consultation is available in person at the library, over the phone, and through email.
