DRAM

DRAM (Database of Recorded American Music) is a non-profit resource that allows online access to music by American composers. DRAM currently contains over 4,000 albums' worth of CD-quality recordings, including the full catalogue of New World Records and contents from numerous other labels. This project was initially funded by the Robert Sterling Clark Foundation, and receives ongoing support from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

Ethnomusicology: Global Field Recordings

A collaborative effort between the UCLA Ethnomusicology Archive and the Ethnomusicology Archive at the University of Washington, this collection encompasses thousands of audio field recordings and interviews among many other types of related resources from over 60 collections.

Naxos Music Library

This streaming audio service allows you to listen to classical music from your computer. The Naxos Music Library contains the complete recording catalogs of the Naxos label and numerous other labels. The main genres covered are classical and jazz, with more than 2 million tracks available for listening.

NOTE: The Music Library has a subscription to Naxos for 15 simultaneous users. When you are finished listening, click on the LOGOUT button at the top of page. Closing your browser window does not log you out of the system, and could prevent another user from accessing Naxos.

Naxos Music Library World

A companion product to the Naxos Music Library, Naxos World is a streaming audio service with more than 104,000 individual tracks of music. Naxos World features music from 150 different countries and 1,500 cultural groups, and includes the complete Smithsonian Folkways catalogue.

Smithsonian Global Sound

Created in partnership with Smithsonian Folkways Recordings by Alexander Street Press, Smithsonian Global Sound offers online access to over 45,000 tracks of music from all over the world. It includes all archival recordings from the Folkways Records, and also offers content from Cook, Dyer-Bennet, Fast Folk, Monitor, Paredon and other labels.

Blair Performance Archive

The Blair Performance Archive is a locally-developed streaming audio database containing recordings of Blair performances with their corresponding programs, masterclasses, and lectures held in the Wilson Music Library archives. Bear in mind there is usually a significant lag time between the recording of a particular performance and its upload and description in this database.
