Can I study in the Library?
The 1st floor main reading room is currently configured as a classroom. Classes are in session Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:30pm. Quiet study is available when classes are not in session with a 40-seat capacity on a first come, first served basis.
The 2nd floor will remain available as study space - first come, first served.
Will study rooms be open?
Based on university social distancing guidelines, team rooms have a capacity of one (1). Currently, Owen staff and faculty may reserve these rooms. This website will be updated with information on student access and ability to reserve these study spaces. Priority is for Career Center reservations.
Can the Conference Room be Reserved?
The Conference Room has a capacity of one (1) and may be requested by faculty and staff.
Are book stacks available for browsing and can books be checked out?
Are physical reserve materials available?
All reserve materials will be electronic and embedded in Brightspace courses. There will be no student borrowing of equipment.
Can I use the computer terminals?
Whenever possible, databases and software will be available remotely with VMWare. Four computer terminals will be available for student use.
Can I use the Print Center?
One copy/print machine (PRISM) will be available for student use. The Print Room has a capacity of one (1). There is an in and an out door. No faculty will be requiring homework or class assignments that require paper.
Will there be a security guard?
There is no security guard scheduled for the building.
