Cazembe Kennedy, Interim Director

Cazembe Kennedy is the interim director of the Digital Commons. In that position, Cazembe collaborates with staff from the Digital Commons, other areas of the University Libraries, and other campus academic technology units to provide a robust set of Digital Commons faculty development offerings. Cazembe comes to Vanderbilt from Clemson University, where he obtained a PhD in human-centered computing and served as a teaching consultant at the Clemson Office of Teaching Effectiveness and Innovation.

 

Connor Gilmore, Digital Imaging Specialist

Connor Gilmore joined the Digital Commons as a Digital Imaging Specialist in Fall 2021. He runs all of the operations of the Digital Imaging Lab. Connor holds a B.A. in Art History from Stanford University. Prior to joining the CFT, Connor was a Chappell Lougee scholar for fine art at Stanford’s Art and Art History Department. He brings extensive experience of photography and imaging to the center and is excited to learn new applications for his passion.

 

Teresa Benedetti, Administrative Assistant

Teresa Benedetti is the Digital Commons administrative assistant, providing administrative, budget, and personnel support for the Digital Commons. Teresa welcomes visitors to 1101 19th Avenue South, schedules consultations for faculty with staff from the Digital Commons and its partners, and coordinates event space reservations, among other duties. Teresa has served in various administrative support roles at Vanderbilt for more than ten years.
