Library Services — What You Need to Know
Central Library is reopening its doors on Monday, March 14.
Beginning Monday, March 14, 2022, the Jean & Alexander Heard Libraries will reopen its doors to visitors. Visitors include all guests of Vanderbilt community members including parents, friends, prospective students and visiting researchers. Alumni and emerita are once again able to visit the libraries at any time during open hours with their VU card. The Gallery will open to the public seven days a week. Below you will find details on visitor access and hours for each of our library locations. We are thrilled to welcome the greater Vanderbilt community back into our spaces.
- Eskind Family Biomedical Library : Visitor access available Monday through Friday, 7:30AM – 5:00PM
- Central Library : Visitor access available Monday through Friday, 7:30AM – 5:00PM
- Divinity Library : Visitor access coincides with Central Library hours, Monday through Friday, 7:30AM – 5:00PM
- The Fine Arts Gallery : Visitor access is available Monday through Friday 11:00AM – 4:00PM, and on weekends, 1:00PM – 5:00PM.
- Massey Law Library : Visitor access available Monday through Friday, 7:30AM – 5:00PM
- Peabody Library : Visitor access available Monday through Friday, 7:30AM – 5:00PM
- Stevenson Science & Engineering Library : Visitor access available Monday through Friday, 7:30AM – 5:00PM
- Special Collections and University Archives will remain available by appointment. Please see their contact information to make an appointment.
- Walker Management Library : Due to construction, visitor access to the Management Library remains unavailable at this time.
- Wilson Music Library : Visitor access available exclusively for Blair School of Music performances and special events at this time.
