The Central Library, as part of the Vanderbilt Library system, hosts a rotating series of exhibitions featuring material from our Special Collections highlighting aspects of the history of the library, the Vanderbilt campus and community, and the surrounding city of which we are a part. These exhibits are open to the public during all hours that the library is open. You will find special spaces for exhibits in the lobby of Central Library, in the open chamber leading to the elevators, behind the computer work area, and in other locations throughout the General Library Building, including the breezeway of the 2nd floor, which is where Special Collections are housed. Current library exhibits are prominently promoted on a marquee on the side of the Flowers wing, which faces 21st Avenue South.
