GIS Day at Vanderbilt: Designing a Campus-Wide Celebration of Mapping

About the Project

In this fellowship students partnered with the GIS Lab to plan and promote Vanderbilt’s annual GIS Day celebration, held each November. Fellows helped shape the event’s theme and programming by selecting activities, collaborating with community partners, and designing engaging content. This fellowship provided students with a unique opportunity to play a key role in both the creative and logistical aspects of the GIS Day celebration.
