Frederick Taylor Wolf Papers
Overview

 

Fred Wolf was Professor of Biology at Vanderbilt University from 1940-1981 and became professor Emeritus in 1981.

The Frederick Taylor Wolf Papers include correspondence, botanical publications, writings and research materials, conference and travel materials, teaching and lecture materials, and notes from when Professor Wolf was a student at Harvard University. The 12 cubic foot collection contains materials ranging from 1911 through 1994, with two major periods of collection in the 1930's and 1960's. Major topics of interest include career correspondence from 1935-1992, reprints of over 135 publications on mycology and microbiology, and Professor Wolf"s teaching materials.
