Edwin L. Shelton was president of the Maryland Coal & Coke Company in Virginia. He acquired the deed and its
history through certain mineral interests.
Scope and Contents
This collection contains three items: one letter, one Vellum Deed, and the history of the tract of land going
back to the late 1700s.
