August Kampmeier Papers

Biography/History
August Kampmeier was born January 28, 1856, in Freeport, Illinois. He attended the following schools:
University of Wisconsin, 1870-73, and Gymnasium of Gutersloh, 1873-75. He also attended the University of Tubingen,
1875-76; University of Leipzig, 1876-77; and attended the Theological Seminary of German Evangelical Synod of North
America, 1877-79. He was Ordained in 1879.
Scope and Contents
This .21 linear feet collection contains five items, in four folders: a bound, handwritten copy of a 1928
unpublished manuscript, two diplomas [in German], a biographical sketch, and, a translation sheet.
