| Biography/History
Colin Campbell [1848-1931] was a Scottish Minister and collector. Campbell was minister of Dundee and chaplain to Queen Victoria. He visited Egypt several times, and formed a collection of Egyptian antiquities, including many cones and ostraca. He published works on the Gospels and translated Naville's Lectures on religion. He also authored a number of books on Theban tombs and related subjects. Scope and Contents This collection contains 2 pieces of correspondence placed in one file folder: a handwritten letter undated and a postcard dated November 27, 1917.
