Archives Finding Aids
The material in the archives is divided into Record Groups. They are listed below by Record Group number. (Click on the Record Group Name column heading to sort by Record Group Name.)
Some of our record groups have finding aids, which tell the specific types of material contained in the groups. To view a finding aid for a particular group (if available), click the name of the desired record group (requires Adobe Acrobat). A few things to note:
- Each listing within a finding aid represents a folder of material. The finding aids list all folders in that record group in alphabetical order. (Specific box and folder numbers are not given online for security purposes.)
- Restricted record groups are closed to everyone except the department to which the records belong.
- Grayed-out record groups are established but do not have any records associated with them.
- All university archives from the past 40 years are closed to the general public. (Dates for files are listed in the finding aids.) However, you may obtain permission to view these records from the Office of the General Counsel.
