Off-campus Access
You may use library resources and databases remotely. Please note:
To use library resources, start the VPN client and connect to library resources as you would while on campus. When first connecting to a library resource, you will be asked to enter your VUNetID and e-password.
- An active VUNet ID is required.
- Browser Configuration (tips to configure a browser)
- JavaScript enabled: Yes
- Cookies enabled: Yes
- Java enabled: Yes
- Preferred Browsers: Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher, Firefox 1.05 or higher, Mozilla 1.7 or higher, Safari 1.2 or higher
- Installation of a Virtual Private Network (VPN) client is required.
