Laptop Checkout and Other Equipment
The Science & Engineering Library has Dell laptops that are available for checkout by Vanderbilt faculty, students, and staff. Laptops circulate for eight hours at a time. The Central, Divinity, Music, and Peabody Libraries also loan Dell laptops, and Apple computers are available at Peabody. Laptops are configured for wireless printing with VUPrint, and all are wireless enabled.
Note: When using any library laptop, please save all files to the Z: drive (Thawspace) or a thumb drive in order to prevent loss.
Other items we checkout...Flash drives, a portable DVD player, ethernet cables, headphones, AC adapters for Dell and Mac laptops, umbrellas, TI-84 and TI-89 scientific calculators, a flat bed scanner, a Garmin GPSMAP 76CSx unit, Amazon Kindles (series 2 and DX), a Barnes and Noble nook, and lockers to temporarily store your belongings.
