Member registration is US$75.00 (if received by April 15, 1999). Non-member registration is US$115.00. On-site registration (for both members and non-members) is US$115.00.

Meeting Site and Accommodations

The Loews Vanderbilt Plaza Hotel will be the meeting site. Loews Vanderbilt Plaza is an elegant contemporary hotel located next to the Vanderbilt University campus, a national arboretum. There are many restaurants nearby, and the hotel includes several, the Plaza Grill and Ruth’s Chris Steak House. Hotel rooms have been reserved for participants at a special rate of $110 (single or double occupancy) plus sales and occupancy taxes of 12.25%. Special room rates apply three days before and after the Seminar dates. Reservation forms must be received by the hotel by April 15, 1999.
Hotel reservation forms should be sent or faxed to the Vanderbilt Plaza Hotel as soon as possible since the hotel is quickly booking up for this weekend. Response by the registration deadline of April 15 may not guarantee a room.

Weather

Nashville’s average temperature range for early June is 62-84 degrees F. Expect a mix of warm, sunny days with some rain. You may wish to bring an umbrella!

Travel Arrangements

You should make travel arrangements at once since the conference begins on the Memorial Day weekend and Monday, May 31 is a US holiday. There are flights to Nashville from major North American cities via Air Canada, American Airlines, Continental, Delta, Northwest, Southwest, TWA, United, and US Airways. From Europe, you can fly via KLM or other major international carriers.

Ground Transportation

Gray Line Airport Express is available every 15 minutes from the airport to the hotel for $9 one-way or $15 for a round-trip ticket. There may be intermediate stops en route, but it is the most economical and efficient route. Taxis are readily available at the Nashville International Airport and other tourist locations. Fare from the airport to the Vanderbilt Plaza Hotel is approximately $18. Each additional person is $.50.
