Documenting Movements, Identity & Popular Culture in  Latin America

Vanderbilt's General Library Building The 44th Seminar on the Acquisition of Latin American Library Materials (SALALM) will be held in Nashville, Tenn., on May 30-June 3, 1999. SALALM XLIV is hosted by the Vanderbilt University Library and the Center for Latin American and Iberian Studies.

'Documenting Movements, Identity & Popular Culture in Latin America' is the conference theme. This meeting will look at the unique challenges facing libraries as they work to collect materials on social issues across a broad span of civilizations, timeframes, and topics.
