Is it in print or electronic format?

You can tell if an item is in print or electronic format by looking at the record in Acorn. If it is available electronically, towards the top of the item record you will see the VUFinder logo icon or the words Web Link next to a link to the actual web page. Click either the icon or the link to get to the book or journal.

For many of these items, you may need a VUNet ID and password to access the full text. Some items can only be accessed on campus.

Items in print: The record in Acorn will tell you which Vanderbilt library has the book or journal that you need. Look for Acorn locations

The call number, holdings and location information will tell you whether or not the item can be checked out, which library it's held in and where in the library it is located.
