What is Acorn? Use Acorn, the Vanderbilt library catalog, to see if books or journals are owned by Vanderbilt. Acorn includes items that are in the nine campus libraries and in remote storage, at the Annex. In addition to books and journals, Acorn includes videos, DVDs, CDs, scores, government documents, and many other types of materials. Acorn does not include individual journal or magazine articles, but will tell you if we subscribe to a journal. If you are searching for articles on a topic, you may want to review Finding Articles or Choosing the Best Database.
Prepared for the Jean and Alexander Heard Library, Vanderbilt University We would like to express our sincere appreciation to MIT Libraries for granting permission to modify and use their "Information Navigator" tutorial. |
