Rush Request Form

Use this form to request books that are in process or on order.

Materials that have been received but are not yet on the shelves are listed in the Acorn catalog with a location of IN-PROCESS, ASK-STAFF, BAKER-HOLD, or VERIFICATION. If you would like to use one of these books, please fill out this form to request that the book be rush cataloged for your use. These items normally are available 4-6 days after being requested.

Items that have been ordered for the library but are not yet received are listed in the catalog with the location ON-ORDER or location NONE depending on the stage of the order. We can not guarantee how soon such materials will be received, but you will be notified as soon as it is available.

Other commonly seen locations include BEING LABELED and AT BINDERY. Once this form is received by Circulation staff they will check on the status of these items or have them held for you when they are received.

By return e-mail you will receive a confirmation that the book(s) is being processed for you.
