We usually process reserve requests by the next day, if not sooner.
Here is the process:
First: Download and print out the Print Reserves Request form.
Next: Fill out the form and bring it to the library along with the items you would like placed on reserve. Please fill out the form completely.
- Specify either "Library Use Only;" or the 2-hour or 24-hour loan period if you will allow your material to be removed from the library. If you would like a different loan period please say so on the form.
- No more than two copies of an article may be put on print reserve; second copies should be submitted in a separate binder or folder.
- Videos and CD-Roms must be submitted in cases marked with title.
- Copies must be clean, legible, hole-punched (for binders), and should not be stapled.
- NOTE: Print/Media is usually used for whole books, videos, and articles that are not allowed to be reproduced electronically. If you are thinking about placing articles on print reserve, please consider E-Reserves, because of the convenience to your students.
