The Commons contains an A/V presentation system that accommodates the installed room computer. This system has

The Peabody Technology Support Center (phone: 322-6600) can instruct users on the use of the AV equipment, if necessary.

 

Computer Hardware and Software

There are nineteen computers in the Learning Commons; one is an instruction station. Each is a 3.2 GHz Dell OptiPlex GX280 with 512 MB of RAM. All are equipped with CDRW/DVD drives. An HP printer services the workstations. Scanners are attached to three workstations in the last row.

Software installed on the computers in the Learning Commons includes the following (on all workstations unless otherwise noted):

 

* On workstations with attached scanners [Back]

** On one of the workstations with an attached scanner (workstation closest to the printer) [Back]

† Educational Lab license: for student use or use by faculty for teaching [Back]
