Establishing a Network Connection

If you are using the laptop wirelessly in the library, a network connection is established when you turn it on. If the laptop is not connecting to the Internet, browse (from another computer) to our FAQs and Troubleshooting page.

Power-Save Feature

If the iBook is idle for a minute or so, it will go to sleep (the screen will go blank). Brushing the touchpad or pressing any key will take the iBook out of power save mode.

Using the DVD/CD-RW Drive

There is a DVD/CD-RW drive on the right-hand side of the iBook. Hold down the F12 key for a second or two to open it.
