Course Reserves: Faculty Reserve Requests: Vanderbilt University faculty may place Music Library materials on shelf-reserve for students in their courses to use. These materials circulate for 2 hours at a time. Due to the increasing demand for course reserves, all requests must be submitted by Wednesday, August 13 in order to guarantee that they are ready by the start of classes on August 25. Requests submitted after this date will be processed in the order in which they are received. The Music Library cannot guarantee that they will be ready by the start of the semester. Faculty must use the forms available below to submit reserve requests. You may download the form to your computer or print it out and fill it out by hand. Once you have completed your form, please bring it to the Music Library Service Desk for processing. Request for Print and Audiovisual Reserves: Use this form to request books, scores, CDs, DVDs, etc. for shelf reserve. Streaming Audio Reserves: If you would like to use streaming audio reserves in your class, please use the form available below. If you would like to have the item placed on shelf reserve as well, please indicate this on the form. Please read the Audio Streaming Policy for Course Reserves prior to submitting your request. These guidelines have been approved by Vanderbilt University's legal counsel. Request for Streaming Audio Reserves: Use this form to request digitized audio examples accessible in OAK. The compact disc will also be placed on reserve in the Music Library. Find Course Reserves: Use this link to ACORN to look up items on reserve for your courses.
