WorldCat is an online catalog of materials owned by libraries worldwide. It has records for more than 35 million items. WorldCat is an excellent source for discovering materials beyond the scope of Vanderbilt's collection, which can be requested from Interlibrary Loan.* |

Doctoral Dissertations in Musicology--online is now hosted by the American Musicological Society. You can search or browse this database of citations for dissertations both completed and in-process. The dissertations are not included themselves, but can be ordered through ProQuest if needed. |

Naxos Music Library - This streaming audio service allows you to listen to classical music from your computer. The Naxos Music Library contains the complete recording catalogs of both the Naxos and Marco Polo labels. Additional record labels licensed by the Naxos Music Library include Vanguard Classics, Saphir Productions, the British Music Society, Onyx, Vox, Musical Concepts, Chandos Records, Caprice, Wergo, Klavier, and Brana Records. The main genres covered are classical, world, folk, jazz, and Chinese music, with more than 500,000 tracks available for listening.*
NOTE: The Music Library has a subscription to Naxos for 12 simultaneous users. When you are finished listening, click on the LOGOUT button at the top of page. Closing your browser window does not log you out of the system, and could prevent another user from accessing Naxos. |

DRAM (Database of Recorded American Music) - DRAM is a non-profit resource that allows online access to music by American composers. DRAM currently contains over 3,000 albums' worth of CD-quality recordings, including the full catalogue of New World Records, and contents from 15 other labels, including CRI, Cedille, Albany, innova, and Pogus. This project was initally funded by the Robert Sterling Clark Foundation, and receives ongoing support from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.* |

Schubertline - This online database allows you to print copies of songs by major art music composers. German Lieder, Italian arias, French mélodies, and English songs are all represented. All songs in the collection are transposable.
