The Law Library, a division of the Jean and Alexander Heard Library of Vanderbilt University, supports the Vanderbilt University Law School curriculum and the research interests of our faculty and students. As a division of Vanderbilt University's Heard Library, the Law Library also provides access to a broad range of non-legal resources, including business, science, and medical publications. The Law Library is open to the local bar as well as to the general public.

Opportunities for Students
The Library Fellows Program
provides opportunities for students to work on significant and scholarly research projects. The paid fellowships are available to upper class undergraduates and graduate students and require a 20 hour/week commitment.
Student employees are a vital component of day to day library operations. Each year, Vanderbilt University Libraries hires over 150 students in a wide variety of jobs with varying degrees of responsibilities. Fill out an application form to apply for student employment. The Vanderbilt Libraries work closely with Student Employment, which coordinates all on-campus student employment processes for Vanderbilt University.
