Policies
Accept requests via OCLC (TJC), ALA (transmitted via mail,
fax, Ariel, etc.), letterhead, or email. Requests must originate
from the borrowing library.
We do not mail books between December 10th and January 2nd
(copy service is not affected).

Loans
Loan period: Material is due back for check-in
here 6 weeks from date shipped.
Renewals: 2 weeks
All loans are subject to availability and approval, and will
be recalled if needed locally.
Charges: Effective January 2, 2003: $10.00IFM or
$15.00 invoiced, or TJC coupon. Tennessee, ASERL, and
ARL are exempt (except those which charge us). No charge to
ATLA libraries on loans from our Divinity Library. We may
match your charges if higher.
International loans: US$20.00 or 3 IFLA vouchers, and
should be returned via airmail or courier.
Noncirculating: Periodicals, newspapers (except microfilm
backfiles), reference, most audiovisual.
Audiovisual/Media: Effective May, 2010, our largest a/v collections
no longer circulate for ILL. However, we lend whenever possible. When
loaned, use period may be shorter, restrictions may apply, and loans should
be returned via FedEx or equivalent.
Dissertations (doctoral): Lend all, except to non-lenders;
1952+ also available from ProQuest/UMI.
Theses (master's): Lend all, except to non-lenders.
Government documents: Lend (but out-of-state ask closer
regional depository first); US GPO selective depository since
1884.

Copies
Charge for estimate: $3.00 maximum, but generally
free.
Charges: Effective October 15, 2002: $10.00IFM

those which charge us). We may match your charges if higher.
International orders: same if sent via Ariel, otherwise
US$20.00 or 1.5 IFLA vouchers.
We generally will not photocopy long items which can be loaned.
We have no in-house facilities to produce microfilm or microfiche,
but may be able to arrange commercial reproduction if required.
