How Do I access library e-journals and databases from off-campus?

All Web-based databases and electronic journals, with the exception of those identified as freely available, are restricted to use by current Vanderbilt students, faculty and staff.

Most of these electronic resources may be accessed outside the library through the Vanderbilt campus network and Vanderbilt dial-up services. Students, faculty and staff using an outside Internet service provider will be prompted for their VUnet ID and a password. Some databases have additional restrictions. (NOTE: If you are a student, faculty or staff who has been assigned an E-password, use that in place of your V-password).
