How Do I borrow materials from non-Vanderbilt libraries?NOTE: Before submitting an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) request, please be sure to check ACORN, the library catalog, to make sure we don't already have the item. Regardless of where you find a citation for an item, most items not held at Vanderbilt are available through our Interlibrary Loan service. This service is only for current Vanderbilt faculty, students and staff. You may make requests by using the online ILL request forms. Additionally, a number of databases have ILL request links directly on the search result screen, although sometimes it's necessary to click on the title of the record to see the ILL link. If an item located at Vanderbilt is checked out, it is possible to request the item by using the KUDZU button located at the bottom of the Acorn record. See also:
