What are connection files?
Connection files allow you to search, open, and import references from a remote database directly into an EndNote Library. More than 1200 connection files come shipped with EndNote; new and updated connection files are available are available to download from the EndNote product site. The connection files below include some not available from EndNote; all have been configured specifically for use with Vanderbilt licensed electronic resources.
NOTE: Be aware that the native search interfaces of many databases may provide more search options (e.g., ways to limit searches, ways to combine searches) than are available when searching those databases with connection files.
If you don't see a particular database or library catalog listed either below or on the predefined EndNote list, please contact Rick Stringer-Hye or Chris Benda.
