Bibliographic Management Software at Vanderbilt
What is bibliographic management software?
Bibliographic management software packages help you to store references to articles, books, and other resources so that you can draw on them in multiple documents, and these packages enable you to insert citations and bibliographies into papers with ease.
How do I learn about these packages?
The best way to learn about these packages is to try them out. All of the packages except EndNote Web and Zotero require you to pay for them, but you can sign up for a free trial by following any of the links in the list below.
Note: Vanderbilt University does not officially recommend any of these packages, but it does provide discounted access for Vanderbilt students, faculty, and staff for EndNote and Reference Manager (log in to the ITS Software Store to purchase). Discounted prices for the other packages are often available from other sources.
