GPS Units
The library offers 5 Garmin GPSMap handheld GPS units for checkout from the Peabody Library. The units are user-friendly and great for classroom instruction, hikes, GPS games, and a wide variety of research and data collection purposes. Check the GPS page for more info.

Printing
Large-format printing is available for custom maps, posters, and anything else that might require large-scale color printing. Prints from the plotter are available at up to 34 inches wide for $10 per linear foot. Files to be printed must be delivered to Peabody Library staff in their final digital format. Lamination is also available at 30 cents per foot, no wider than 24 inches. All printing and lamination projects must be submitted 24 hours in advance, Monday through Friday.

Map Production
The Vanderbilt GIS Service produces maps for faculty and staff needs for a minimal fee, based on the map requirements. We can create custom maps in a variety of formats, including print, jpeg images, and PDFs. (Students, please see GIS Training information to learn to make your own maps for academic purposes.)
