Full-text information resource for social and economic development. Made up of World Bank publications and Policy Research Working Papers. Includes all titles published since 2000 and selected titles from the 1980's and 1990's. New titles are added as they are published. Information not available in print is also included.

- Current Index to Statistics (restricted to V.U. users)
Bibliographic index to publications in statistics and related fields. Indexes the entire contents of 162 core journals as of 2003, in most cases from 1975 (or first issue if later) to the current end year, and selected articles from about 1200 additional journals (cumulatively). Also indexes about 11,000 books in statistics published since 1975.

- NBER Macrohistory Database
An extensive data set that covers all aspects of the pre-WWI and interwar economies, including production, construction, employment, money, prices, asset market transactions, foreign trade, and government activity. Many series are highly disaggregated, and many exist at the monthly or quarterly frequency. Has some coverage of the United Kingdom, France and Germany, although predominantly covers the United States.
