Scanning Equipment

A self-service flatbed scanner is available in Government Documents/Media Services. This computer station includes Adobe Acrobat for creating PDFs and Adobe Photoshop for image scanning. There are basic instructions located at the scanner.

This scanner is made available on a first-come, first-served self-service basis. If you need assistance with scanning, please consider going to the Garland Computer Lab where staff are available to help with scanning projects.

Standalone CD-ROM Workstations

Two CD-ROM workstations located in Government Documents/Media Services provide access to the few databases that cannot be made available through our library network. The databases on the first workstation include:

The CD-ROM or DVD for these titles must be loaded into the computer. Ask for the corresponding title at the Government Information and Media Services service desk.
