Vanderbilt's Central Library is a member of the Jean and Alexander Heard Library system. The Central Library is the largest in the Vanderbilt system, supporting study in the arts, humanities and social sciences: African-American studies, anthropology, classics, communications, comparative literature, East Asian studies, economics, English, fine arts, foreign languages and literatures, history, Latin American studies, linguistics, philosophy, political science, psychology, sociology, women's studies, and government publications.

The Central Library is located on the east side of campus in the General Library Building. Here's a map -- click once on the red circle for the best view. The main entrance to Central is located on the Library Lawn side of the building.
