Historical or Biographical Note

Dr. Herman Zaiman, received his MD from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 1957. Born in 1917, He was an aviator with the U.S. Navy in World War II, and taught parisitology at Einstein College in New York City for many years. He was the author of several medical textbooks on parasitology. He later went into private practice and moved to Minnesota and then to Valley City, North Dakota in 1984. He retired in 2000, and He died there September 10, 2007.
