Historical or Biographical Note

Charles C. Trabue, IV, MD received his undergraduate degree from Davidson College in 1928 and graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 1932. He served a residency in surgery in 1932 and had a long time association with Vanderbilt throughout his career serving as an assistant in clinical surgery from 1936-1938, an instructor in clinical surgery from 1938-1953, and Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery1954-81. He was elected president of the Tennessee State Medical Association in 1955.
