Search Results

The result of an Acorn search may be a single catalog record or a hit list of catalog records.

If a list of catalog records displays, it will usually include the following catalog record information about an item:

  • author
  • call number
  • edition information
  • estimated wait
  • library

  • location
  • number of available copies
  • publication year
  • title

Once a particular item has been located on the hit list, select Full Details to view more information about that item. If the search located only one matching catalog item, the full record automatically displays.

If there is no direct match for the search term entered, a browse list displays.

Items marked for printing or emailing are saved for the current search only.

Try these too retrieves a list of titles that are cross-referenced to the titles found in your search.

If you perform a search that retrieves items with different classification numbers, Acorn analyzes them and returns a list of the categories they fall into in the You Found Books in Categories box.
