Vanderbilt Affiliated Patrons

Spouses, Domestic Partners, and Dependent Children:

Spouses of current Vanderbilt faculty, Vanderbilt faculty emeriti, staff and students, as well as domestic partners have library reading and borrowing privileges. Dependent children of current staff and faculty have reading privileges only.

Cards for spouses of current Vanderbilt faculty, staff, and students, as well as domestic partners, are issued by the Vanderbilt Card Office , 184 Sarratt Student Center, (615) 322-CARD. To obtain a card for a dependent child, a parent must accompany the child to the Card Office. Family cards each cost $10.00. Cards for spouses, domestic partners, and dependents of those affiliated with the Medical Center are issued at the VUMC Card Office, the Round Wing of Medical Center North, D-2107, (615)936-3349.

Spouses or partners of Vanderbilt faculty emeriti should first obtain a Card Application from Library Administration, 6th floor General Library Building, 615-322-3478. With a completed application, the spouse or partner may obtain a library borrowing card for the purpose of activation of library privileges.

Children under the age of fifteen must be accompanied at all times by a parent or another adult who has a valid Vanderbilt ID.
