Fisk Library Borrowing Policy for Vanderbilt Patrons
General collection books circulate for three weeks.
They are renewable if no one has placed a hold on them. A grace
day is applicable for the first overdue day; however, the grace
day is revoked thereafter. Overdue fines accrue daily for three
weeks; fines are $.10 for the first ten days and $.20 for subsequent
overdue days. After three weeks, patrons are billed for the cost
of the unreturned book and an additional nonreturnable $10.00
processing fee. Upon the return of a book which has been held
for three weeks or longer, the patron is liable only for the $10.00
processing fee.
