Deans Fellows presentation to the ARL

Taylor presented her project at the Association of Research Libraries Leadership Fellows Institute at Vanderbilt University.

Fellowship: Project Proposal

"I liked that I got full ownership of the project. I never knew how much I liked the process of researching a problem in many different ways (conversations, articles, focus groups) and combining the results to present a recommendation. Now I'm doing a very similar thing in my summer internship. I love it!"

About the Project

The Library launched a renovated website in July 2013 with consistent design and infrastructure, and improved access to library services and resources. Taylor contributed to strategy development for promoting the library's resources, services, and events through its new online presence. She created best practices for image selection and targeted publicity materials to an array of audiences, creating a schedule of items to publish on the website, identifying sources of information of interest to students, faculty, and the community, and using web tools and analytics to develop metrics, measure goals, monitor traffic and report results.
